Terms of Service

Fit is operated by Tobias Schaathun (Norway), as an individual rather than through a registered company. By creating an account, you're agreeing to these Terms with Tobias Schaathun directly.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Fit. By checking the age box at registration, you're confirming this. We may suspend or remove accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 16.

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Display names must be your own choice and not impersonate another person or be deliberately misleading, offensive, or infringing.

When using the forum, messages, or any shared/social feature, don't:

• Post illegal content, harassment, hate speech, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to Fit's systems.
• Use Fit to give or imply medical advice — it's a personal tracker, not a healthcare service.

You keep ownership of the workouts, meals, forum posts, messages, and photos you create or upload. By posting to public areas (the forum, your public profile), you're granting us the license needed to store and display that content back to you and other users as the feature intends. You're responsible for content you post and confirm you have the right to post it (e.g. photos you upload).

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. This removes your profile, workouts, meals, messages, and uploaded photos. One exception: forum threads you started are deleted along with any replies other users left in them, since Fit doesn't currently support reassigning or anonymizing them instead — the deletion screen will remind you of this before you confirm.

Fit is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans or subscriptions in the future — if we do, this section will be updated with billing, cancellation, and refund terms before any payment is ever collected from you.

Fit is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It's a personal project, not a medical device or clinical tool — nothing in it is medical advice, and you should consult a qualified professional for health decisions. To the extent permitted by law, Tobias Schaathun isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Fit.

We may update these Terms from time to time (see the date above), and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate them. You can stop using Fit and delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
